Nathan Eadie

Nathan is the Director of Queensland Foot Centres, bringing over three decades of experience in sports podiatry treatment. He has been consulting for the Queensland Reds since 1993 and the Brisbane Lions since 1999, building a strong professional association with numerous teams and individual athletes. Nathan enjoys a robust referral network that includes orthopaedic surgeons, sports physicians, physiotherapists, chiropractors, and osteopathic practitioners, as well as coaches and strength and conditioning personnel. His extensive experience has led him to speak at various local, national, and international conferences, and he has served on the State Government’s Podiatry Review Board. Nathan has a special interest in adolescent sport and postural complaints.

Janet Burns
B.Hlth.Sc.(Pod)
Janet graduated with a Bachelor of Health Science in Podiatry from QUT in 2004. Over her 20+ years in practice, she has worked at various Queensland Foot Centre locations, collaborating closely with general practitioners, physiotherapists, and surgeons to ensure optimal treatment outcomes for her patients.
A highly skilled podiatrist, Janet enjoys all aspects of her field, including nail care, skin care, diabetes management, heel pain, sports podiatry, podiatric acupuncture, and orthotic therapy. Her passion for sports, particularly netball, led her to serve as the consulting psychologist for the QLD Firebirds and Queensland netball for 11 years, while also working with various local netball associations. Janet is dedicated to solving podiatric problems—big or small—and places great importance on providing personalized care, ensuring that patients leave with confidence and a clear understanding of their treatment plans.
Outside of the clinic, Janet enjoys spending time with friends and is a keen traveller, especially fond of coastal getaways and planning trips abroad.

William Henneken
B.Hlth.Sc.(Pod)(hons)
Will joined the Queensland Foot Centres team in 2013 after graduating with honours from Queensland University of Technology in Brisbane. He is committed to improving his knowledge through regular conferences and professional development with leaders in sports medicine. Will has had the opportunity to work with elite athletes preparing for both the Summer and Winter Olympics, as well as the Commonwealth Games. Currently, he serves as a consulting podiatrist for the Brisbane Lions and treats athletes from several sporting academies across Queensland and Australia.
With a broad understanding of sport-specific requirements, Will is constantly collaborating with like-minded clinicians to enhance patient outcomes based on individual movement patterns. He enjoys treating complex pain and chronic injury patients, believing in a tailored approach to care.
A lifelong sports enthusiast, Will has participated in various activities, including running, triathlon, rugby union, AFL, cycling, rowing, swimming, tennis, cricket, and motorsport. His diverse sports background gives him a unique perspective on patient needs. Outside of work, Will enjoys endurance cycling and running, as well as spending time with his young children.

Mitchell Brown
B.Pod
Mitchell joined the Queensland Foot Centres sports podiatry team in 2018 after graduating from Queensland University of Technology. As a senior podiatrist, he collaborates closely with sports-focused physiotherapists, exercise physiologists, and orthopaedic surgeons to provide a holistic approach to foot and skeletal health for patients of all ages and activity levels.
Recently, Mitchell has been involved with Basketball Queensland’s youth program, helping young athletes build strong foundations in foot and lower limb health. His partnership with the Brisbane Bullets has also been rewarding, enabling him to support players in enhancing performance, injury prevention, and rehabilitation—aligning with his passion for basketball.
With a keen interest in keeping people active and pain-free, Mitchell’s expertise spans a wide range of sports, including basketball, running, trail running, football, soccer, cricket, rock climbing, dancing, and swimming. An avid multi-day hiker, he understands the significance of foot health for endurance activities, allowing him to provide tailored support to athletes and outdoor enthusiasts.
Outside of work, Mitchell enjoys basketball, rock climbing, camping, and exploring the outdoors through multi-day hikes. He lives near all three clinics and values his connection to the local community.

Jamie Walker
B.Pod
Jamie graduated with honours from QUT, Brisbane, in 2011. Over the past eleven years, he has gained experience across private practice, doctors' clinics, rural health centres, and multidisciplinary clinics alongside physiotherapists, osteopaths, and exercise physiologists. This diverse background has equipped him with a broad skill set in diagnosing and treating all aspects of the foot and lower limb, with particular interests in foot and lower leg pain, sports injuries, paediatric assessments, and orthotic therapy. Jamie is also skilled in diabetic foot assessments and managing skin and nail complaints.
With a junior elite soccer background, Jamie understands the importance of injury prevention and maintaining pain-free exercise. This passion drives his interest in biomechanics and sports podiatry, as he aims to help patients return to the activities they love as quickly as possible, recognizing the critical role of movement in overall physical and mental health.
To stay current in his field, Jamie engages in ongoing education and training, including learning foot mobilisation techniques (FMT). This hands-on approach helps address various foot and ankle issues, such as long-term injuries and instability.
Outside of work, Jamie and his family embrace an active lifestyle, enjoying outdoor adventures such as kayaking, camping, hiking, and surfing.

Elliot Miller
Elliot graduated from Queensland University of Technology in 2018 and has since worked in various multidisciplinary clinics alongside physiotherapists, exercise physiologists, and sports physicians. With a passion for basketball and athletic care, Elliot has worked with the AFL Gold Coast Suns and NRL Titans teams.
He specializes in treating complex biomechanical presentations and optimizing lower limb function. This interest grew from his personal experiences playing basketball for over 15 years, which led to various injuries. Elliot understands how challenging it can be to be sidelined and is dedicated to getting his patients back on the field as quickly as possible.
Elliot's areas of interest include sporting injuries, ingrown toenail surgery, paediatrics, biomechanics, and lower limb diseases. He enjoys staying informed by listening to running podcasts and attending sports medicine conferences.
In his spare time, you can find Elliot at the local basketball court, climbing mountains, or planning his next overseas adventure.

Thomas Hall

Thomas joined the Queensland Foot Centres team in 2019 after graduating from QUT. His favorite aspect of podiatry is his wonderful patients; the variety he encounters inspired him to pursue this career. Thomas strives to provide exceptional care, considering each patient’s personal, fitness, or occupational goals and limitations. He enjoys collaborating with a wide range of health professionals to achieve the best outcomes for his patients, with a particular interest in injury prevention and adolescent sport.
Outside of work, Thomas is a chronic hobbyist, engaging in woodworking, model making, and various DIY projects around the house. He enjoys playing cricket and basketball and is always eager to support athletes in achieving their full potential in these sports.

Lydia Cunnington
B.Pod
Lydia obtained her Bachelor of Podiatry from Queensland University of Technology (QUT) in 2021. After completing her studies, she relocated to Toowoomba to be closer to her hometown of Chinchilla. Lydia developed an interest in podiatry at an early age after visiting a podiatrist, which influenced her career choice.
She finds fulfillment in the various facets of podiatry, focusing particularly on diabetic foot assessments, skin and nail care, and musculoskeletal complaints, including heel pain. Lydia has pursued additional training in dry needling techniques, which she incorporates into her practice. She is dedicated to helping each patient navigate their treatment process, recognizing the individuality of their needs and developing customized plans accordingly.
In addition to her podiatric work, Lydia is actively involved in community theatre, using her singing talents to entertain audiences. She has participated in numerous musical productions and holds a Certificate IV in Musical Theatre. Lydia also enjoys attending both AFL and NRL games and loves live music events.
